Reserve the Self-Care Space

Located on the 6th floor of FHG Library, the Self-Care Space is intended to be a safe space where members of the WCU community can attend to short-term needs that require a certain level of privacy. Appropriate uses include (but are not limited to) nursing/pumping, meditation/prayer/seeking a calm retreat, attending to medical needs, and changing clothing.

The Self-Care Space is sponsored by funding awarded by the WCU Innovation in Diversity & Inclusion Grants Council.

Use Guidelines

  • The Self-Care Space can be reserved for up to 30 minutes, twice a day by individuals with a current WCU email. Make a Reservation now.
  • Be sure to check in within 15 minutes after the start of your reservation or the space will automatically become available for others to reserve.
  • Occupancy is limited to two (2) people.

Use of this space outside of the intended use is prohibited. Your information will be obtained and submitted to Library Administration and Public Safety. A Student Conduct Violation may be filed.
