Relaxin' Rammies

image of the Relaxin' Rammies space. This is a corner of the library with floor length windows and purple curtains separating it from the rest of the library stacks. In this image are two round purple shaggy carpets, 7 blue liquid tiles arranged in a hopscotch pattern, two large purple beanbags, one large blue beanbag, two black and one tan rocker chair, a wall-mounted bubble lamp, and a table with a fidget box. There are also two alternative seating options from Fun And Function, one of which looks like a large canoe, and the other looks like a large bubbly "H" shape. Located on the first floor of the FHG Library, Relaxin' Rammies is intended to be a soothing sensory space where all members of the WCU community can come to decompress. Students may come to Relaxin' Rammies to regulate themselves, reduce anxiety, and cope with day-to-day life. This space serves to welcome and benefit everyone on campus.

Relaxin' Rammies is the brainchild of now alumni Mary (Molly) Parker and Courtney Purdy in conjunction with WCU's Dub-C Autism Program (D-CAP).
