Innovation Media Center (IMC)

• We are your go-to place for production services in the library. These services include poster printing, laminating, and comb binding.
• We have thousands of DVDs that you can borrow.
• You can borrow cameras, projectors, and other A/V equipment here.
• You can check out our K-12 textbooks and other teaching resources.
• We have a charging station for your smartphones or other smart devices.

We are located on the first floor of the library past the children’s book collection.

Before borrowing IMC equipment you will be asked to fill out a University Libraries Liability Form.

The IMC has 3 group study rooms available to reserve.

• IMC Study Rooms are primarily for the use of group viewings of reserve videos, group study, or other academic activities by members of the WCU community.
• These rooms are not sound proof so we cannot guarantee a quiet space.
• Study Rooms can be reserved for up to 3 hours by individuals with a current WCU email. Make a Reservation now.
• Be sure to check in within 15 minutes after the start of your reservation or the space will automatically become available for others to reserve.
• Patrons using IMC Study Rooms must leave the room in a neat and clean condition.

The IMC houses the library's collection of K-12 textbooks and other teacher education resources.

• Textbooks: You may borrow student and teacher editions as well as teacher resources books for use in grades K-12.
• Lesson Guides: We have current guides to curriculum and additional resources for teachers, and historical guides from local school districts.
• Big Books and Book Kits: You can check out our large format children's books or our book kits which are perfect for story time for the younger grades.
