Bicycle Lending Library

Thank you so much for your wish to donate to the Bicycle Lending Library at WCU! We greatly appreciate every donation we receive. Please see below for the requirements on what we can and cannot accept for bicycle donations.

When donating:

For donations of bicycles, we will require pictures of:

• Front and rear brake pads and cables
• Front and rear derailers
• Cassette and chainrings/crankset
• Images from front, back, and both sides of bicycle

• Bicycles in excellent, good, or fair conditions
• Bicycles in reasonably repairable condition
• Most types of bicycles, particularly hybrid, road, or mountain bicycles

• Rusted bicycles
• Bicycles in disrepair or that cannot be fixed
• Bicycles missing any parts aside from brakes and chains
• Bicycles that have been left outside for extended periods of time
• Exercise bicycles
• Electric bicycles
• Bicycles from department stores (Target, Ross, Walmart, etc.)
• Children's bicycles
