We know the library gets pretty packed during the last week of classes and finals week. So to help you snag a seat, we have opened room 309 and 409 in FHG Library for your studying needs. These rooms will be available to you as study rooms until December 14. We also opened room 253 earlier this week. The new technology in that room will give you the same modern study experience you get in the QVC Collaborative Study. So when all hope of finding a seat in the library seems lost, bring your study essentials to one of these rooms and prepare to ace your finals.

Need a Group Study Room? Room 253 is Open

I love this room as a group study space because we recently installed digital display screens. The displays are wireless, which means you can share content on them from your phone or computer. With that in mind, this room is a perfect place to collaborate with friends and practice group presentations.

Need a Computer? Visit Room 309

If you are looking for computers, this is a great space to visit because it has several work stations. These computers have same programs as the ones down on the second floor of FHG Library. If you cannot find a computer on the second floor, this is the first place I would recommend going.

Need a Study Space? Visit Room 409

If you are looking for a study space without desktop computers, this is the place for you. There are several large tables with comfortable seats for longer study sessions. Another plus about this room is that it is on a quiet floor, which can help your concentration.

We know that managing stress is crucial to thriving during finals. One valuable way to reducing stress is by taking study breaks. That is why we have partnered with The West Chester University Counseling Center's Dog Therapy Outreach Program to set up a Therapy Dog visit. You can visit with Therapy Dogs this Wednesday, December 5 from 11:00am-1:00pm in FHG Library. Join us on the first floor of FHG Library near Starbucks to visit with a Therapy Dog. We look forward to seeing you there!
