Current WCU retiree emails will be de-activated on July 21, 2022. As a retiree of West Chester University, we recognize and appreciate your commitment and many years dedicated to our students and the campus community. We are here to help guide you through changes to your library account and answer your questions. Please note: Emeritus Faculty will retain WCU email accounts and do not need to make any changes.

What you need to do prior to July 21st   

  • Complete this form to update your library account with a current email address.
  • Log in to your ILLiad account to access and download any current requests. Any active Interlibrary Loan requests through ILLiad and EZBorrow will be filled. If your request is not filled before July 21, 2022, contact the ILL office so we can ensure that it gets to you.
  • Download, save any citations or articles from folders in databases

Information and Support

Visiting the Libraries and Borrowing  

There are no changes to visiting or borrowing services. Retirees are welcome to visit University Libraries during open hours and borrow West Chester University books and media.  

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan Services, including ILLiad and EZBorrow, are limited to users with a current WCU email address. If you would like to borrow materials from another library, please connect with your local public library and ask about their interlibrary loan service.

Databases and Full-Text Online Resources

Visit University Libraries and use a community workstation to search databases and access most full-text online resources. Off-campus access to these resources is limited to users with a current WCU email address.
