What are Pennsylvania Documents?
Pennsylvania documents are publications of Pennsylvania state government agencies including books, pamphlets, periodicals, electronic resources and much more.
WCU Library is a selective depository which means we collect some, but not all documents published by the federal and state government. For more about Federal government documents, see the Government Documents Subject Guide.
How to Find Pennsylvania Documents:
Locate documents in the Pilot Library Catalog (above) and write down the title, location and call number.
The collection is arranged according to the Pennsylvania Documents Classfication (Pa. Doc.) System which is different from call numbers in the rest of the Library. Pennsylvania Documents are shelved by government agency, so:
PE = PA Department of Education
PGA = PA General Assembly
PHE = PA Department of Health
PA Documents Collection is located on the second floor after the Federal Government Documents Collection and next to the Government Documents Study Area.
