Sideways Stories from Wayside School, Oct. 16-19

West Chester University’s Department of Theatre & Dance invites audiences of all ages to experience the zany, magical, and heartwarming world of Louis Sachar’s Sideways Stories from Wayside School, October 16–19, 2025. Adapted for the stage by John Olive and directed by Associate Director of Theatre John Bellomo, the production brings the beloved children’s classic to life in the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre, Swope Music Building & Performing Arts Center, 817 S. High Street, West Chester.

Unmasking Autism Book Club 

October 9, 30 and November 13, 12-1pm, Main Hall 200

Do you love reading and supporting neurodiversity? Join our book club, where we’ll read Unmasking Autism by Devon Price, build community, and discuss ways to improve the acceptance of autism on campus and beyond! Faculty, staff, and students are all invited to join us, and everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have time to read the book! Book club will conclude with a virtual visit from Devon Price on November 13th from 12-1pm, an event open to everyone on campus. If you are interested in receiving book club updates or have questions, please sign up using this form or email jalnes@wcupa.edu.
