Below is a list of museums and historical sites you can visit if you are interested in learning more about nuclear science, weapons, and energy. (See also The Traveler's Guide to Nuclear Weapons for more sites, tips, etc.)
Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A great collection of toys, posters, health products, scientific equipment, and other objects "chronicl[ing] the scientific and commercial history of radioactivity and radiation."
Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. This is a massive underground bunker built for the United States Congress to use during the Cold War; now open to the public.
