Board Games at the Library IMC

The Library has games? Yes we do!

In 2017 we bought a few classic games for a finals "brain break" event. Then we thought, why not let people borrow them? Not long after we received a few as gifts and then requests started coming in. The collection is small but growing. Game on!

We would love to have your suggestions!  Use the Suggest a Purchase form, or  leave a note in the suggestion box at the IMC. Donations accepted following WCU Libraries book donation procedure.

Policy

• Anyone can use the board games in the IMC and anyone with a valid WCU id may borrowed for 35 days.
• There is no limit to how may one person can borrow but we ask you to be considerate. Loans may be renewed once if no one else is waiting for that game.
• Games may be put on Hold following the directions for book holds below. Pick up will be at the Main Library Help Desk.
• Please return games to the IMC or Main Library Help Desk staff even if you only used the game in the library. This helps us see what is popular and helps us decide on new purchases!
• To avoid damage do not use the book return boxes.
• Games are checked for damage and missing pieces when returned and the borrower will be charged replacement fees if necessary. We strongly suggest double checking game pieces before leaving the Help Desk area when borrowing.
• Games may not be requested by other libraries through Interlibrary Loan.
