The following vendors and publishers are either excellent resources for classroom materials for teaching faculty or have expanded access. For some, where access has been expanded by agreement, please distribute carefully with the caveat/warning that it is grace access during this crises (in most cases through May) and will disappear at the end of that grace period. The library does not have funds to purchase any of the expanded access resources.
Annual Reviews – Access to all content
BookShelf at VitalSource – Many textbooks have been made available for free the rest of the semester. Create a free account using your WCUPA email to search and borrow texts.
Docuseek/Icarus Films will add streaming access to DVDs we have in our collection by request. Reach out to Amanda Brooks if this comes up.
DramaOnline (Bloomsbury) – expanded access to all collections to May 30th.
Duke University Press – expanded access to all content on their site for customers including read.dukeupress.edu and projecteuclid.org
EBook Central (ProQuest) – all ebook titles from these publishers will be available through mid-June with unlimited, open access.
EBSCO eBooks – many publishers lifting user limits – move to unlimited access.
Faculty Select – search for OER and request purchase of DRM free ebooks
Gale – expanded access and resources for locating materials for online teaching
Graduate Test Prep – free trial to this resource from EBSCO through June 2020. Includes… Case in to get remote access link.
JOVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) – access has been upgraded to include…(put in a request – waiting to hear back)
Kanopy Streaming – expanded content to include many free streaming videos
Royal Society - all content is now freely available
University of Michigan Press eBooks - freely available through April 30, 2020.
World Scientific Publishing - made all content freely available until June 30, 2020.
